Indians and Environment India, the world’s second-most populous country, has had a big impact on the globe. Its history is dynamic, spanning back to the beginning of human civilization. The history of India begins with the birth of the ‘Indus Valley Civilization’, more precisely known as ‘Harappan Valley Civilization’. It flourished around 2500 BCE. The Indus Valley Civilization was basically an urban civilization and the people lived in well planned and well-built towns. The highly civilized people knew the art of growing cereals, wheat, and barley which made up for their food requirements. The most remarkable fact is that despite living in urban areas, they had a deep respect for the nature around them. The India of my dreams

A great philosopher, Martin Luther King Jr. once said-"I have a dream". I say that-"I too have a dream!" Every child has a dream to become someone and to do something in their lives. For me, that dream has been of becoming a social servant and do something for my country. To make India better, to make it the India of my dreams. I dream of an India where justice is served to all. Where each Indian enjoys equality. Where no child sleeps hungry. Where there is no distinction between high class and low class of people. An India in which all communities shall live together in perfect harmony. We shall be at peace with every other nation. Where 'Unity in Diversity' is our strength. An India which is a role model for other nations. This is the kind of India of my dreams.... But I alone cannot achieve my dream. It will take every Indian to work hard.
