The India of my dreams

A great philosopher, Martin Luther King Jr. once said-"I have a dream".
I say that-"I too have a dream!"
Every child has a dream to become someone and to do something in their lives. For me, that dream has been of becoming a social servant and do something for my country. To make India better, to make it the India of my dreams.
I dream of an India where justice is served to all.
Where each Indian enjoys equality.
Where no child sleeps hungry.
Where there is no distinction between high class and low class of people.
An India in which all communities shall live together in perfect harmony.
We shall be at peace with every other nation.

Where 'Unity in Diversity' is our strength.
An India which is a role model for other nations.
This is the kind of India of my dreams....
But I alone cannot achieve my dream. It will take every Indian to work hard. So dear readers, it is time that we do something for our motherland. I request you all to pledge today that you will act like responsible citizens and fulfill your duties towards your nation.
There is no better way to sum this up than the lines of the great Indian poet, Shri Rabindernath Tagore-
" Where the heads are held high,
Where the mind is without fear,
Which is a heaven of freedom,
Oh Lord! In my country I wake,
May God fulfill my dreams!   "
JAI HIND!
